Anna C. Foreman, 92, of Morrison, IL, died Monday, October 21, 2019, at her home.
Anna was born February 17, 1927, in Lyndon, IL, to Marion C. and Cora (Hussey) James. She attended Lyndon schools. Anna married Charles E. Green on August 24, 1946, in Clinton, IA. He died July 28, 1973. She then married Norman W. Sandell on August 19, 1978, in Morrison. He died September 8, 1987. She later married Lawrence Foreman on March 26, 1992, in Monroe, WI. They divorced on March 8, 2004. Anna owned and operated Moothart Salvage Company in Morrison and later served as Mt. Pleasant Township Assessor.
Survivors include three sons, Gary (Cheryl) Green of Morrison; Jim Green of Fulton, IL; Dean Green of Morrison; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Hamilton, Jennie Delorosa, and Virginia (Richard) Johnson all of Morrison; brother, Henry James of Morrison. She had many friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles and Norman; daughter-in-law, Donna; brother, Carl James.
Anna was a kindhearted Christian lady who lived life on her own terms. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be no Visitation or Services.
Interment at Lower York Cemetery in Thomson, IL, will take place at a later date.
