Amy M. Hardesty, 41, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at her home.
Amy was born March 10, 1974, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Ronald and Barbara (Wolfe) Paschal. She married James Hardesty on August 26, 1995, in Morrison. She was employed by McDonald’s restaurant in Sterling for the past 20 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and children. She also enjoyed animals, traveling to Disney World, and her work family at McDonald’s.
Survivors include her husband, James Hardesty of Morrison; three children, Michael Hardesty, Thomas Hardesty, and Lisa Rose Hardesty all of Morrison; her parents, Ron and Barb Paschal of Morrison; a brother, Joe (Chandra) Paschal of Morrison; five nephews, Jacob, Josh, and Caleb Paschal and Daniel and Andrew Smith; a niece, Katie Smith.
She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison, IL.
A Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the church, co-officiated by Reverend William Antillion and Reverend Thomas Shaw.
Inurnment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL.
