American Legion Post 328 Donated to Pantry

Editor’s note:  Finance Officer and Sergeant-at-Arms Jerry Brearton submitted the article and photo.

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, The American Legion Post 328 in Morrison IL donated $237 to the Morrison Friends Food Pantry, to help replenish its stock, which will be depleted during the holiday influx.

The Post makes such a donation for several reasons.  It is part of our charter to help those in need.  We all know that most social events, especially those at Christmas, revolve around consuming a good meal, with family and friends who care about each other.

Although the Morrison Friends Food Pantry does a great job keeping the shelves stocked, every little bit helps the pantry continue to do so.
