Alice A. Spencer, 95, of Morrison, IL, died on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Allure of Mount Carroll, IL.
She was born on February 14, 1928, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Henry and Vernice (Eikenberry) Weaver. She married Harold Spencer on January 15, 1947, in Rock Falls, IL. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2010. Alice graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1946. She was a homemaker, factory worker, farm helper, and overall hard worker. She loved to play cards and loved her family very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Fred) Randecker of Mount Carroll; son, Larry (Bev) Spencer of Baldwyn, MS; daughter-in-law, Jane Spencer of Milledgeville, IL; sister, Nora (Paul) Johnson of Peotone, IL; brother, Arthur (Lynn) Weaver of Savanna, IL; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six great-greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Spencer; sisters, Betty Kruse and Joyce Bumphrey; brothers, Howard Weaver, Cliff Weaver, and Bob Weaver; great-grandchild, Ericka Kerley.
A Visitation will take place from 10:00 to noon, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home of Rock Falls, IL.
A Funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home and take place at 12:00, with Pastor Rich Koch, officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
