Gathered at Albany United Methodist Church, 502 First Street, Albany, IL, the children wave goodbye to another successful year of Lunch on the Lawn.
This program is part of Whiteside County United Way’s Feed the Children initiative.
This is the third year that Albany United Methodist Church has participated in the program.
The children received a special treat this year: colorful bags of back-to-school supplies, provided by First Trust & Savings Bank.
This is an excellent example of communities working together. Organizations and volunteers combined efforts to provide for area children.
