Dear Editor:
What an amazing evening it was for Rock River Hospice and Home (RRHH) at the Fourth Tapas and Tinis Fundraiser! The event incorporates community members as chefs who make a variety of appetizers for guests to enjoy, along with specialty martini drinks created by Brandywine staff. Guests were encouraged to support their favorite chef, or appetizer, by voting with cash donations. All the collected proceeds benefit RRHH.
Thank you to Chuck Miller and the staff at the Bradywine who embrace this idea and make everything work seamlessly for the chefs and guests; to CGH Medical Center for sponsoring the event; to our entertainment for the evening, Riley Horton.
We also give a big thank you to our Community “Celebrity” Chefs who graciously donated their time, talent, and food for everyone to taste and enjoy. They include
- Bud LeFevre
- Andrea Miller
- Nathan and Tiffany Hummel
- David Hellmich
- LuAnn Gvodzjak
- Karen Abele and Dawn Grell
- Steve Nunez
- Kristie Geil
- Jim Eggleston and Mike Grems
- Cynthia Stringer, Elvia Estrada, and Cynthia Rodriguez
- Maya Reter, Kolten Conklin, and Katrina Sandefer.
Thank you to the spouses, or Sous Chefs, of each of these people.
We thank everyone who attended, made a cash donation, or pledged that evening and also, for recognizing and supporting Rock River Hospice and Home.
