Cookies, Roses, Ebenezer Vocalists Brighten Resthave

Posted by

Resthave Home, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, celebrated Valentine’s Day with cookie-grams.  Staff made and decorated sugar cookies.  Families could purchase roses to be delivered to their loved one as well.

Along with the rose and/or cookie came a singing message to the resident.  A group from Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, Morrison, came dressed in Valentine attire.  The members devoted much of their time to deliver the cookie grams and sing.

Residents were delighted with their cookie grams, as evidenced by the beautiful smiles.  The Ebenezer group found it to be “rewarding,” and several stated they “had a blast!”
