A Morrison High School Basketball season of ups and downs, with stretches of wins and less-productive streaks, came to an end in the opening game of the Newman Regional, on Monday, February 22, 2016. The Mustangs left Sterling, IL, with a disappointing loss to the Riverdale Rams 47-39.
Senior Joey Brackemyer was the lone Mustang to score in double figures, earning 13. Noah Hogue and Nick Klimson contributed seven apiece. The Mustangs never recovered from the eight-point advantage the Rams mounted in the second quarter.
