President Connie Royer, adviser to the Morrison Education Association negotiating team, reported that “staff ratified the contract on [Wednesday,] January 13, 2016. We have approximately 74 members. Our head negotiator was Anita Dobbins.”
“It’s a two-year contract that’s very similar to our old one. [There are] just a few (minor) language changes and a small increase on the [salary] base for this year, [with] no increase on the base for next year.”
The next Morrison Community Unit School District #6 Board meeting is Monday, January 25. The contract is on the agenda.
