June Adams, 92, of Sterling, IL, died Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Heritage Woods, Sterling.
June was born on May 31, 1923, in Rock Falls, IL, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Orr) Reese. June married John Adams on February 1, 1946, in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death in August of 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie (David) Mauldin of Morrison, IL; three sons, Steven (Bonnie) Adams of Geneseo, IL, Michael (Sherry) Adams of California, and Mark (Polly) Adams of Sterling; eight grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one infant daughter, Susan; one sister, Helen Reese Schwartz.
Graveside services for June will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Sterling, IL, at 11:00 a.m.
A memorial has been established to First Christian Church.
