Daniel “Danny” Michael Miller, 28, of Sterling, IL, died Monday, December 14, 2015.
Daniel was born May 22, 1987, in Dixon, IL, the son of Mike and Leanne (Mathew) Miller. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling. Daniel was a 2005 graduate of Sterling High School and worked for Jakobs Brothers Farms since he was 16 years old. He enjoyed fishing with his family and was an avid Bears fan.
Survivors include, his significant other, Melissa Kuhl of Sterling; two sons, Christopher Michael and Jacob Daniel Miller, both of Sterling, at home; his parents; one brother, Andrew Miller of Sterling; paternal grandparents, Gwen and Kevin Miller of Sterling; maternal grandparents, Lester and Joyce Mathew of Morrison, IL; aunts and uncles, Liz (Kevin) Carr of Peoria, IL, Paul (Angie) Miller of Dalzell, IL, Marsha (Harry) Koth of Aurora, IL, Jill (Kevin) Wohrley of Mendota, IL; numerous cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling, IL, with Reverend Mark Oehlert, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name, for his children, Christopher and Jacob.
