Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following arrests made and citations issued since Thursday, December 3, 2015.
Arrests:
On Friday, December 4, 2015, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Morrison Police responded to the area of 520 and 522 E. High Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a neighborhood dispute and possible Battery. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police issued an ordinance violation to Joy M. Loomis, age 86 of Morrison, charging Loomis with Battery/Public Fighting.
On Sunday, December 6, 2015, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Morrison Police responded to Hardee’s, 200 N. Base Street , Morrison, IL, regarding a Battery. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Cody W. Schreiner, age 22 of Morrison, charging Schreiner with Battery. Schreiner was released on a Notice to Appear.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Joseph D. Parsons, age 24 of Fulton, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Parsons with Failure to Appear/Pay – Possession of Controlled Substance. Parsons was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
