Morrison High School Key Club held a Food Drive to benefit the Morrison Friends Food Pantry. The drive ran from Monday, November 11, 2015, through Friday, November 20. This was a competition between 4th hour classes.
MHS students and staff raised $800 in cash, as well as five vehicles worth of food, cleaning supplies, diapers, and other paper products. This was delivered to Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Monday, November 23.
Heather Carr stated, “We are very proud of our Key Club students, Key Club advisers Gwenn Rickertsen and Shari Elfline, and all of those who made generous donations.”
Key Club will host a thank you lunch on Friday, December 11, for those who contributed at least 100 points worth of food or products.
