The Morrison Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate Christmas at the 28th Annual Christmas Walk on Saturday, December 5, 2015. The theme is “Christmas Around the World.”
Some of the events planned for Saturday include
- delicious church suppers
- visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- business open houses
- restaurant food specials
- caroling
- a live Nativity
- horse and wagon rides
- showing of the movie “A Charlie Brown Christmas”
- Christmas Cocktail Concoctions
- the tree lighting ceremony
- the always-anticipated lighted parade.
New this year are decorated holiday windows in the downtown storefronts and street vendors, including Co-Z Corner, Papa Tom’s, Thai by Kai, and more.
The parade entry deadline has been extended to Tuesday, December 1, in an effort to feature as many people as possible. The Chamber hopes to bring the community together to celebrate all of the wonderful sights, sounds, and tastes of Morrison this Christmas season. Plan to attend many of the family-friendly events.
