Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, November 13, 2015.
Arrests:
On Friday, November 20, 2015, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Morrison Police responded to Sullivan’s Food for a complaint of Retail Theft. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Georgia L. Voorhees, age 73 of Morrison, IL, charging Voorhees with Retail Theft. Voorhees was released on a Notice to Appear.
On Saturday, November 21, 2015, at approximately 10:35 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Mallory K. Story, age 31 of Morrison, IL, at S. Genesee Street and Wall Street for a registration violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Story was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle When Registration is Suspended and for No Insurance and an Arrest Warrant issued by Lee County. Story was released after posting the required bond.
