Dance Club Celebrates Seven Years of Fun

Posted by

The Morrison Grand Squares dance club is celebrating it’s 7th year with–what else!–a dance at the City of Morrison Community Room, at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.  Bob Asp will be the caller on Sunday, November 15, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.

MGS club was created in 2008 after several styles of dancing were introduced to the community.  Square dancing proved to be one of the most popular.  The Grand Squares have grown in membership over the years.  Their enthusiastic members show prospective dancers just how much fun people can have, with a sport that promotes exercise.

There is no charge to come to sit and watch the Grand Squares during their celebratory dances.  See how much fun the Grand Squares have and visit with members.

Visit the website at squaredancemorrison.com for more information.

If you have questions, please call club Presidents Butch and Ann VanderSchaaf at 815-772-3616.

Beginner classes start the first Monday of the new year on January 4, 2016.  What a fun way to chase away the winter blues!  Tell your friends, neighbors, and relatives to come along, too.  There is no charge for the first lesson, no partner is needed, and you are guaranteed to have a great time!

Look who has been having fun over the last seven years!  Picture yourself here next year.
