allan vossAllan J. Voss, 93, of Prairie Hills at Clinton in Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Monday, October 12, 2015, at Prairie Hills.

Allan was born September 27, 1922, in Fulton, to John C. and Kate (Bonneur) Voss. He was educated in the Fulton Grade schools and was a 1940 graduate of Fulton High School. Allan married Lucy VanderVinne on March 18, 1954, in Fulton. She died July 12, 2008. He was employed at the Curtis Company in Clinton for 25 years. He then was employed by Bickelhaupt Motors in Clinton for 20 years. Allan was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, where he served as Deacon and Treasurer.

Survivors include ten nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Kathelyn VanderVinne of Morrison, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy; one brother, Charles N. Voss; two sisters, Margaret TenBoer and Ellamae Moldermaker.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  11:00 a.m., Wednesday , October 14, 2015, at the Fulton Chapel, Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING:  Rev. Edie Lenz, Pastor, First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL

VISITATION:  9:30 a.m., until time of service Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Fulton Chapel, Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT:  Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL
