September 28 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

09-27-15 at 11:06 p.m.  A 17-year-old Barstow, IL,  female was stopped in Albany, IL, for an Inoperative Rear Registration Light.  She was cited for No Valid Driver’s License-Graduated License Curfew Violation and given a written warning for the equipment violation.

09-27-15 at 2:28 a.m.  Tomas Xique Xique, age 30 of Oak Forest, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 west of Morrison, IL, for Speeding and Improper Lane Usage.  Tomas was ultimately arrested for Speeding 70/55 MPH and DUI.  He was processed and released on bond pending future charges.

09-26-15 at 10:34 p.m.  Kolby R. Teats, age 24 of Erie, IL, was stopped on Moline Road west of Erie for defective exhaust.  He was arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and bonded on scene, with a written warning for the Defective Exhaust and Failure to Notify Secretary of State of an address change.

09-26-15 at 4:07 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies arrested Michael R. McCallister, age 53 of Lyndon, IL, for an active Lee County Warrant for Failure to Appear on a Reckless Driving charge.  McCallister was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was able to post bond, and was released without further incident.

09-26-15 at 1:23 a.m.  Reymundo Montiel, age 38 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Aggravated Battery after the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call, reporting a battery to an employee at the Sterling Casey’s General Store, located at 2806 W. 4th Street.  Montiel was arrested shortly after he fled the scene and later transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  At the time of his arrest, Montiel was also wanted on a Whiteside County warrant for Failure to Pay or Appear on the charge of Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Appear on the charge of Mob Action.  Sterling Police, Illinois State Police, and CGH EMS assisted on scene.

09-26-15 at 1:05 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Rock Falls, IL.  Upon further investigation, Colton M. A. Krug, age 22 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Improper Lane Usage as well as two counts of Driving Under the Influence.  Krug was transported to the Rock Falls Police Department, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.  Assisting on scene was the Rock Falls Police Department as well as Slim-‘N-Hank’s Towing.

09-25-15 at 9:35 p.m.  Jason D. Loechel, age 36 of Lyndon, IL, was stopped for a stop sign violation in Lyndon and was subsequently arrested for Disobeying a Stop Sign and two counts of DUI.  He was processed and released, pending a future court date.  Prophetstown Police assisted on scene.

09-25-15 at 7:37 p.m.  Demetrious Lee Chiri, age 30 of Des Moines, IA, was arrested following a traffic stop on Interstate 88 at milemarker 27, rural Lyndon, IL, for Speeding 85/70 MPH and Failure to Properly Secure a Child, Under 8 years of Age.  Demetrious was released with a notice to a mandatory court appearance in Morrison, IL.

09-22-15 at 8:25 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to an incident in rural Sterling, IL.  Upon further investigation, Jason J. Bardoner, age 42 of Sterling, was arrested for a Whiteside County Warrant for Contempt of Court.  Bardoner was transported to the Rock Falls Police Department, where he was able to post bond, and released without further incident.

09-21-15 at 11:09 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Sterling, IL.  Upon further investigation, Danielle E. Walters, age 21 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Possession of Cannabis Less than 2.5 Grams.  Walters was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where she was processed, and released with a Notice to Appear.  Rick’s Towing assisted on scene.

09-17-15 at 2:36 p.m.  Anthony J. DiBenedetto, age 60 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for DUI, Reckless Driving, and Improper Driving on Shoulder of Roadway, following citizen complaints about a driver driving through yards and such near Prophet and Riverdale Roads, rural Rock Falls.  He was remanded at the Whiteside County Jail on the above charges.  Rock Falls Police and Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.

09-17-15 at 6:04 a.m.  William A. Jetter, age 26 of Fulton, IL, was arrested following a roll-over vehicle crash on IL Route 84 near Garden Plain Road.  He was originally traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, stating there was an issue with the steering mechanism.  Neither Jetter nor his passenger were injured in the crash.  Jetter was charged with Driving While License Suspended and a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Pay/Appear–Driving While License Suspended.  Albany Fire, Albany EMS, Fulton Police, and Midwest Towing assisted on scene.

09-16-15 at 5:04 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to an incident where a vehicle was forced off of the roadway in rural Sterling, IL.  Upon further investigation, Jeremiah H. Kramer, age 35 of Sterling, was arrested for Unlawful Operation of an Off-Road Vehicle on the Highway as well as Driving Under the Influence.  Kramer was transported to CGH Hospital by CGH EMS, where he was released with a Notice to Appear.  Assisting on scene were CGH EMS as well as the Sterling Fire Department.
