Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 11, 2015.
Arrests:
On Thursday, September 10, 2015, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Morrison Police responded to Da Bar, 109 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a possible fight. Upon arrival, Morrison Police learned a suspect to the fighting had left the scene. Morrison Police conducted an investigation, and on Wednesday, September 16, Laura L. Marquis, age 47 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery and Public Fighting. Marquis was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Saturday, September 12, 2015, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Leon Williams, age 46 of Clinton, IA, pursuant to order issued by the 14th Judicial Circuit Court, Whiteside County, IL, charging Williams with Failure to Appear As Ordered. Williams was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
