Attention, book lovers! Odell Public Library is now accepting gently-used books from the community, for the library’s annual “Book and Bake Sale,” on Saturday, November 7, 2015. This yearly event is held in the City of Morrison Community Room, at the library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL. The popular event is from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- Paperback books are just 25¢.
- Small children’s books are 10¢.
- Hardbacks cost 50¢, unless marked otherwise.
If you will be unable to attend, remember monetary donations are always appreciated.
Although librarians are weeding books from the shelves at Odell, your books are welcome and needed, too. The Odell Public Library Friends support group especially is seeking best sellers–both fiction and non-fiction. Clean children’s books, paperbacks in good condition, cookbooks, biographies, and other genres are all welcome.
The library cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, moldy books, or those that are long out-of-date.
Books may be brought to Odell Public Library beginning Tuesday, September 15, and until Friday, October 30.
