Irma J. Tiesman, 81, of Resthave Home, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Resthave Home.
Irma was born December 6, 1933, in Morrison, to Jacob and Anna (Bush) Brackeyer. She was a graduate of Morrison High School in Morrison. Irma married Joseph Tiesman on December 4, 1964, in Morrison. He died March 8, 2005. Irma was a retired employee of General Electric in Morrison. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison and served as organist. Irma enjoyed bowling, camping, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Stan) Buckwalter of Morrison; two sons, Steve (Liz) Tegeler of Rock Falls, IL, and Craig (Regina) Tiesman of Morrison; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; one son, Jeff; one sister, Jessie Vandereide; two brothers, Roy Brackemyer and Donald Brackemyer.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the Morrison Chapel, Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
