Overcast skies aside, it was a fine day for the 5th Annual Water Extravaganza at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, Morrison, IL, on Saturday, August 8, 2015. The fun was scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot, but thousands of water balloons were completely splashed by 1:30.
Children competed to pick up multicolored balloon “shards” to earn a hefty $40 reward.
