07-08-15 at 4:35 p.m. Dennis J. Bruins, Junior, age 31 of Morrison, IL, was stopped by Deputies following a citizen report of littering on U. S. Route 30 east of Morrison. Bruins was arrested for Littering, issued a Notice to Appear, and released pending a future court date.
07-08-15 at 2:26 p.m. Edward P. Roberts, age 31 of Sterling, IL, was arrested at U. S. Route 30 at Galt Road for No Seat Belt, No Valid Driver’s License (expired less than six months), and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He was also issued a written warning for Failure to Notify Secretary of State of Address Change and Obstructed Vision/Unsafe Equipment with a cracked windshield.
07-08-15 at 2:19 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Morrison, IL. Upon further investigation, Anthony K. Kuehl, age 25 of Morrison, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Unlawful Use of Registration, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kuehl was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Hunter’s Towing assisted on scene.
07-08-15 at 2:05 p.m. Christopher R. Hazelwood, age 41 of Dixon, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 at Agnew Road. He was ultimately arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle with a written warning for other offenses.
07-08-15 at 9:10 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Prophetstown, IL. Upon further investigation, Daniel G. Dykstra, age 50 of Morrison, IL, was arrested for an Ogle County Warrant and was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was able to post bond.
07-06-15 at 4:13 p.m. Meaghan M. Heinrich, age 25 of Milwaukee, WI, was arrested for Speeding 73/55 and No Valid Registration on Interstate 88 (in a construction zone) near mile-marker 35. She was released on an I-bond.
07-06-15 at 9:49 a.m. Joseph A. Bland, age 27 of Dixon,IL, was stopped on Dixon Avenue for No Front Registration Plate and Obstructed Registration. He was arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released on bond without incident, with a warning for the other infractions.
07-05-15 at 1:40 p.m. Kevin P. Bush, age 51 of Rock Falls, IL, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding along U. S. Route 30 near Matznick Road. He was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released on a Notice to Appear, after processing at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
07-04-15 at 4:13 p.m. Nicole C. Rodriguez, age 41 of Sterling, IL, was stopped on Avenue G, Rock Falls,IL, for Speeding. She was arrested for Speeding 40/30 MPH, Possession of Cannabis (Under 2.5 grams), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her passenger, Cris A Garza, age 47 also of Sterling, was arrested for Possession of Cannabis (Under 2.5 grams). Both were processed and released on bond.
07-03-15 at 3:35 p.m. Gary E. Balance, age 37 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested at Lomax and Washington Roads, rural Prophetstown on a Schuyler County Warrant on a Rule to Show Cause for a vehicle theft incident. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail without incident.
06-29-15 at 1:49 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of W. Lincolnway and Emerson Road. Upon further investigation, a juvenile of Sterling, IL, was issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage. Sterling Fire, EMS, and Slim-N-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
06-29-15 at 10:10 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Sarah R. Mahoney, age 24 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Mahoney was released on scene with a Notice to Appear and a future court appearance.
