Kathy Jewel Utley, 53, of Ohio, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, after complications due to surgery, at the Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IL.
Kathy was born March 8, 1962, in Savanna, IL, to Ronald R. and Grace M. (Faulkner) Whitten. She was educated in the Fulton Grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Phoenix and her Master’s Degree in Global Operations and Supply Chain from Capella University. She was employed by Spectrum Technologies in Plainfield, IL, where she was Director of Operations. Kathy enjoyed gardening, painting, and traveling. She also enjoyed muscle cars and riding motorcycles. She loved her horses and dogs, but the loves of her life were her family and children, the ones she birthed and the ones she did not.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Ryan) Williams of Machesney Park, IL, Stephanie Utley of Rochelle, IL and Erin Noble of Ohio, IL; three sons, Jeremy (fiancée Stephanie Nolan) Utley of Baton Rouge, LA, Eric Noble of Morrison, IL, and Ethan Noble of Ohio, IL; four grandchildren, Braxton and Jace Utley; Cora and Audrey Noble; her mother, Grace M. Whitten of Fulton; three sisters, Roni (Daniel) Mitchell of Fulton, Penny (Gary) Venhuizen of Erie, IL, Cindy (Pete) Petersen of Clinton, IA; two brothers, Robert (Christine) Whitten of Fulton and H. Glen Whitten of Ada, OH; her soul mate, Layne Noble of Ohio, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald R. Whitten; one brother, Charles Whitten.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

MEMORIAL VISITATION: 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
Cremation rites have been accorded.
