Girl Scouts Seek Women Role Models in Stem Fields

Posted by

girlscout logoGirl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) is partnering with Techbridge’s “Role Models Matter Project” to offer targeted training to women working in the fields of science, technology, and engineering.

These are women who want to be role models for future generations.  Volunteers will receive free training and resources to help them become role models.

Participants do not have to be registered Girl Scout adults to take the Role Models Matter training, nor do they have to volunteer with Girl Scouts after receiving training.  This training is also open current Girl Scout volunteers.

Techbridge will generously provide grant funds to GSNI for the first 90 volunteers who register and take the training by the end of June 2015.

To register contact Pam Schnecke at 847-741-5521, extension 7140.
