Theatre-goers who drive to Timber Lake Playhouse, 8215 Black Oak Road, Mount Carroll, IL, may meet with traffic repairs. The staff advises, “We recommend allowing some extra travel time if your trip to TLP involves [Illinois] Highway 40.”
Highway 40 is under construction near Milledgeville, IL, and it is completely closed at various times. The closures have caused significant delays for many people coming from the southeast of Mount Carroll over the last few weeks. Because detours are not clearly marked, we are emailing everyone who has purchased tickets or qualified for advertiser/sponsor tickets since our 2015 Season went on sale.
