Musicians Shine on Resthave Residents

The last week of May 2015 included musical performances by two talented groups at Resthave, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL.

On Thursday, May 28, the Sunbeams from Second Reformed Church, 703 14th Avenue, Fulton, IL, sang for Resthave Home’s Residents.  The Sunbeams have been kind enough to visit two-to-three times.  Residents and staff definitely appreciate it.  Thanks, Sunbeams!

On Sunday, May 31, the Petrie family, and two friends shared their many musical talents with Resthave Home’s residents.  Some of the featured instruments included violin, autoharp, flute, accordion, harp, piano, and guitar.  Shown left-to-right are Trevor Tauch, Anna Marie Petrie, Mary Bacon, Olivia Petrie, and the girls’ mother, Maria Petrie.  Not visible were father John, who played flute, and son Johnick Petrie, who helped with set-up; Mary’s daughter, Lara Bacon; Anna Marie’s student Ethan Lee, who performed on piano.
