Fredrick J. “Rick” Taylor, “RT”, 53 of Rock Falls, IL, died Thursday May 21, 2015.
He was born on March 13, 1962, in Sterling, IL, the son of LaVon R. and Kathryn Ann (Moran) Taylor and was a 1980 graduate of Rock Falls High School. Rick worked for over 18 years for Shaw Newspapers in the I.T. department, and later he worked at Ray-o-Vac in Dixon, IL. He was a Minnesota Viking and a St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Surviving are his sisters, Annette (Jim) Hall of Morrison, IL, and Leigh-Ann Ebenezer of Rock Falls; three nieces; two nephews; his special friend Darla Dickson of Rock Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue, Rock Falls, IL.
A private family burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
