Paul F. Vock, age 91, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Morrison Community Hospital.

Paul was born February 19, 1935, in Sterling, IL, the son of Joseph and Freida (Fritz) Vock.  He was a 1953 graduate of Community Catholic High School in Sterling.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1955-to-1956 during the Korean Conflict.  Paul was a lifelong farmer in the area and a lifetime member of St. Mary Parish in Morrison.  He was a dedicated member of the Whiteside County Fair Board for 49 years, serving as President for the final 34 years of his tenure.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Mary Kay McCue; children, Paula (Tom) DuBois of Sterling, Ann (Michael) White of Fitchburg, WI, Phillip (Tracy) Vock of Morrison, and Andrew (Dawn) Vock of Sterling; 12 grandchildren, Katie (Dalton) Grossmann, Andrew (Nicole) DuBois, Megan (Brett) Hiner, Elizabeth White, Michelle (Dallas) Schmitt, Daniel White, Kristine (Curt) Fangman, Emily Shank, Ashley (Edgar Barrientos) Shank, Nathan Vock, Michaele (Trevan) Burn, and Abigail (Beau) Smith; 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bradley Vock; wife, Joann Vock; sister, Nancy Kooy; three great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.

The Visitation will follow from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2224 Avenue J, Sterling, IL.

Burial with military honors will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Whiteside County Fair and St. Mary Parish in Morrison, IL.
