The Rock River Jazz Band is bringing the Big Band Era back, for two live and free concerts, this month. Both are from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 11: “Big Band Night” Concert in the RB&W Park, Rock Falls, IL.
Saturday, July 25: “Big Band Night” Concert in Page Park, Dixon, IL.
Concerts will feature Patty Balayti singing standards, including “It’s Only a Paper Moon,” “Orange Colored Sky,” “Blue Skies,” and more.
Performances are in family-friendly park settings and are free. Bring your lawn chairs, and listen to the sounds of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and others. Invite family and other music lovers.
