To honor the 150th anniversary of Morrison Fire Department today, Saturday, June 6, 2026, a Parade will process from the Whiteside County Fairgrounds to Cherry Street, turning west onto Main Street, in downtown Morrison, IL.
An Open House will follow at the Morrison Fire Department, with refreshments provided. Trucks will be on display, as well as a new brick façade and engine entrance door. There will be a ceremony.
Finally, Morrison Department of Fun will host a downtown block party this evening, in celebration of 150 years of service from Morrison Fire Department. Food trucks, a bounce house, and live entertainment will add to the fun. Bring a chair.
