Welding stated, “The Morrison Community Hospital Foundation is beyond grateful! A few weeks ago, I received a phone call from Jeni Kessler, Office Manager at Scotts Miracle-Gro in Morrison. She offered to donate mulch for the walking path at our Community Garden, in French Creek Park. Then, she offered to have her employees spread it!
“Keep in mind, these employees are currently in their busy season, working ten hours per day, six days per week. So, their only free day was Sunday, April 26, 2026. As you can see from the photos below, employees and their children came armed with shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows.”
“Even Production Manager Barb Zigler’s hubby, Josh Zigler, came from Littelfuse in Rock Falls, IL, to join us. MCH is so grateful for this overwhelming show of support and to Timber Industries owner Tom May, for donating the mulch.”
