[Updated Royalty report follows.] The King and Queen were announced during Grand March in the Morrison High School auditorium. Morrison High School’s Senior Class Prom Court, left-to-right, consisted of Gavin Baker, Collin Renkes, Brayden Rubright, Carson White, Sammy Williams (Prom King), Jenna Grater (Prom Queen), Harper Buikema, Peyton Lowery, Bella Scachette, and Sarah Wetzell.
Morrison High School’s 2026 Junior/Senior Prom Grand March will begin Saturday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m., at 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. Doors open at 2:30 to seat family and friends.
When introduced, students will walk through the arch on stage, pause briefly for photos, then pause again at the other end of the stage before going to the cafeteria.
Near the end of Grand March, the Prom Court will be introduced, and the Prom King, Queen, Prince, and Princess will be crowned. Afterward, families may take additional photos.
Prom will be held at the Rock Falls Community Building at 601 W. Tenth Street, Rock Falls, IL. Arrival is between 7:00 and 7:45 p.m. Dinner will not be served. Soft drinks and dessert will be available during the event.
The dance runs from 7:00 to 10:30.
Post Prom will be held at Urban Air in Rockford, IL.
