Spring has sprung. We are all anxious to get in our gardens and yards and start gardening! As you look over your gardens, please keep Morrison’s plant sale in mind. The annual plant sale will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, at the Farm Bureau Building located at 100 E. Knox Street, Morrison, IL.
We are also accepting plant donations prior to the event to add to our sale. If you have some perennials that are too crowded and need to be split, or perhaps you have a plant that you just don’t like anymore, please consider donating it to the sale. Plants can be dropped off at the Farm Bureau Building and left at the University of Illinois Extension office with Mary Nelson or Sonny.
Need help digging up your plants? We can help with that as well. Please contact Diane Garcia at 630-212-2910 by Thursday, April 30, to set up a time for us to help.
This sale is organized and sponsored by Whiteside County Master Gardeners and Morrison Garden Club. Proceeds from the sale will go towards Morrison beautification projects.
