At approximately 8:00 a.m., Friday March 13, 2026, Morrison Junior High School students gathered to form a cheering path to the front door, to encourage two State-qualifying Wrestlers. Both Ashyr Deyo and Uryah Wright had earned a Third Place medal on Saturday, March 6, during the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) State Sectional Tournament. Head Wrestling Coach Jesse Kennedy, his son Ryan, and Tony Wright will accompany them to compete today at Northern Illinois University Convention Center in DeKalb, IL. Start time is approximately 11:30.
