Marguerite Ann Vander Meulen, age 92, of Morrison, IL, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, IA.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015, and Tuesday, April 14, from noon until 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren.

Marguerite was born on July 31, 1922, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Albert and Alberdine (Dijk) Hoekstra. She married Frank Vander Meulen on August 29, 1942, in Camp Livingston, LA. He died in 1987. Marguerite was a homemaker and a member of Morrison United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their mobile home. She loved to play computer games.
Marguerite is survived by her four children, Edward (Joyce) Vander Meulen, Morrison, Ann (Dan) Ragon, Potosi, WI, David (Barb) Vander Meulen, Willowbrook, IL, and Mary (Kevin) Robbins, Muncie, IN; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Joan Carr; 11 brothers and sisters.
