Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 27, 2015.
Arrests:
On Friday, March 27, 2015, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Nathan D. Schrock, age 20 of Harmon, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County Circuit Court, charging Schrock with Failure to Appear – Driving Under the Influence. Schrock was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Saturday, March 28, 2015, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Morrison Police received a complaint of a reckless driver eastbound on U. S. Route 30 approaching the City limits of Morrison, IL. Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jack W. Ryan, age 46 of Clinton IA, on E. Lincolnway near Bishop Road for a lane violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Ryan was arrested and charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Ryan was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
