Is your building is located in the “Morrison Main Street Historic District?” You will want to participate in two events, presented by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency. This is a workshop on Federal income tax credits. On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 take part in
- a one-on-one tour and free consultation how to adapt your space
- a workshop/informational meeting.
They are planned for building owners whose structures lie within the boundaries of our Historic District. Additionally, the meeting is for absolutely all others who have an interest in the program.
These events are being sponsored by organizations interested in keeping and enhancing a vibrant and successful commercial downtown, in the heart of our community:
- Morrison Chamber of Commerce
- Morrison Area Development Corporation
- Morrison Historic Preservation Commission.
We have secured the services of the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency’s Darius Bryjka, to share his expertise with interested owners, during site visits through the day. Bryjke will present that evening, at the City of Morrison Community Room, Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
