Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 13, 2015.
Arrests: On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at approximately 4:12 a.m., Morrison Police responded to 107 E. Wall Street, regarding a possible Hit-and-Run Accident. A vehicle parked along E. Wall Street was struck, and the offending vehicle fled the scene. As a result of the investigation and assistance by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, the offending vehicle was located at Casey’s General Store, Morrison. Morrison Police arrested Matthew T. McCole, age 33 of Morrison, IL, charging him with Criminal Damage to Property. McCole was released on a Notice to Appear for April 20, 2015. The incident remains under investigation.
