Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Arrests: On Sunday, March 1, 2015, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Morrison Police responded to a report of an “underage drinking party” at 525 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were charged with the offenses listed:
- Austin P. Wikoff, age 18 of Morrison, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (Under 2.5 Grams)
- Christian Garcia, age 18 of Morrison, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
- Male Juvenile, age 17 of Dixon, IL, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
- Female Juvenile, age 17 of Morrison, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
- Female Juvenile, age 16 of Morrison, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.
Wikoff and Garcia were both released on Notices to Appear for Monday, April 6, 2015. The three juveniles were released to the custody of their parents/guardians. The Morrison Police was assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’’s Office.
