Spring Valley Reformed Church, 10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton IL, welcomes Judith Montgomery to their outdoor stage, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Join us for an evening of praise and worship. A free-will offering will be received. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.
Judith started in ministry over 25 years ago as a soloist. She currently sings lead, alto, and soprano and enjoys songwriting and managing the bookings.She was raised in a Christian home and was saved at a young age. Judith has been involved in church all her life! Her parents sang in local revivals before and after she was born. She was raised in a home that listened to and sang Southern Gospel Music, and she fell in love with it! As a child, she recalls begging God to teach her how to play the piano.
When she was first married, a local singing group needed a pianist. When they found out Montgomery could also sing, she was placed into the group as a soprano vocalist/pianist. Over time, she sang in three local groups, before God called her out to sing as a soloist. When she answered the call to sing solo, it was a hard decision, but she knew it was God’s calling.
God has been faithful to her over the years. People asked her to fill positions in other groups, but every time she prayed about it, God always said “No.”
For hobbies, she enjoys taking outdoor walks, helping on the farm, caring for the farm animals, playing piano, writing songs, and talking with her kids.
