Big second quarters by Morrison’s Lakin Goodman (7 points) and Erie’s Cox (10 points) ended up creating the difference in a 36-29 Morrison loss to Erie, IL.  The difference was the support that Erie teammates supplied to overcome a first quarter deficit (9-6) and earn a halftime lead (23-18).

Both teams managed 26 points from the field.  Erie made it to the free throw line ten more times than the Fillies.  They also converted seven more times.

Final score: Morrison 29, Erie 36.

Morrison 9-9-3-8 = 29

Erie 6-17-7-6 = 36
