Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports that Morrison Police continue its investigation of a stolen historical artifact from Morrison’s Heritage Museum. The Department is seeking the Community’s help.
In November 2014, Morrison’s Heritage Museum reported the theft of an anvil from the front of the museum at 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. The anvil is believed to have been taken sometime in late October. The anvil has historical value beyond its physical value. The museum would like the anvil returned.
