On September 27-28, 2024, the Morrison Community Hospital Foundation was proud to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of its Surgical Complications/Wound Care Course, in Naperville, IL.

These courses provide quality education to Podiatrists and Podiatric Medical Assistants.  Eighty-five doctors participated in didactic lectures in the morning and cadaveric specimens in the afternoon.  There were 17 vendors available.

All proceeds from the event benefited the Morrison Community Hospital Foundation.

“This course has become an annual event for many of our attendees,” stated Dr. David Yeager, Course Chairperson and Chief of Staff at the hospital.  “We look forward to at least another 20 years of providing good, quality, education at a fair price.”

Next year’s course will be held at the same location on September 26-27, 2025.

Dr. Yeager was a recipient of the first “Jennifer Yeager Champion of Podiatry” award, for his vision to start a 2-day training for Podiatrists, to learn about cutting-edge surgical techniques, receive cadaveric lab training, and earn 14 CECH credits.  This award will be given annually to Doctors who take time to invite colleagues and residents, and who also promote our training event.  It was named in honorarium of Dr. Yeager’s mother who passed away earlier this year.  He is so deserving!
