Where to Celebrate Hallowe’en in Morrison

The City of Morrison, IL, Trick or Treat hours will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 31, 2024.  Listed are 11 locations who welcome trick-or-treaters.

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office presents “Trunk or Treat” on October 31, from 5:00 to 7:00.  The location is the Law Enforcement Center parking lot, 400 N. Cherry Street.

Morrison Police Department, will join the Sheriff’s Office Trunk of Treat event.

Six Churches welcome community children.

Bethesda Lutheran Church, 301 W. South Street, will participate in “Trick or Treat” on October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The indoor location is the lower level of Bethesda; use the south door.  Costumed volunteers will pass out treats from various areas of the multi-purpose room.  There will be hot chocolate and cider for the adults who accompany their children.  “We expect a lot of children, based on past experience.  Non-edible treats (pencils, stickers, etc.) will be available for those with food tolerance issues.  We hope to see you!”

Brethren in Christ presents “Trunk or Treat” on October 31, from 5:00 to 7:00., at the grassy corner of N. Madison Street and Lincolnway.

Crossroads Community Church offers drive-through tacos October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (or until food runs out.)  The location is 201 W. Market Street, formerly the Crave building.

Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, hosts Trick or Treaters to hot chocolate, coffee, and candy on October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00.  Come to the front door on Park Street.

Emmanuel Church, 202 E. Morris Street, presents “Trunk or Treat” on October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00., in the parking area between the two buildings.  If the weather is inclement, the event will be in the gym.

Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, welcomes community children to the parking lot on Sunday, October 27, beginning at 10:30 a.m.  If the weather is inclement, the event will be in the Fellowship Hall.

Three Residential Care Facilities welcome children to trick or treat:

Homestead Assisted Living & Memory Care, 403 Scenic Street, Thursday, October 24, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, 500 N. Jackson Street, October 31, in the Activity Room, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Thursday, October 24, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
