For three-quarters of a century, citizens of and visitors to Morrison, IL, have benefited from the artistry, hard work, and joyful dedication of Morrison Garden Club members.
During seven-and-a-half decades, treasured volunteers have distributed their talents throughout the community: planting trees in French Creek Park and the Bark Park; May plantings at the Grove Hill Cemetery fountain; comprehensive landscaping at the Morrison Community Hospital entrance; seasonal decorating of large, clay pots along Main Street; clever Christmas displays at the corner of U. S. Highway 30 and IL Route 78.
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, they celebrated at Dunlap Lodge #321 A.F. & A.M., 227 E. Main Street, wearing celebratory t-shirts.
