Morrison Athletic Boosters have scheduled an inaugural athletic opportunity, on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Purchase admission tickets from LuEllen Lee at the blue violet, 115 E. Main Street, Morrison.
The venue is the Whiteside County Fairgrounds Blue Building, 201 W. Winfield Street, Morrison, IL. Doors open to race fans–age 21 or over–at 6:00 p.m. Be sure to pick up your racing program. Betting and races begin at 7:00.
Track tips:
1. Bring cash to exchange for “Mustang Bucks” as your wagering currency.
2. Use cash or a check to participate in Raffle Baskets, Silent Auctions, and 50-50 Drawings.
Admission is $25 and includes a drink and complimentary hors d’euvres. Brick Block Pub will be on site with mixed drinks, beer, soda, and water for purchase.
Morrison Athletic Boosters support Junior High and High School sports with fundraising, at a level of $18,000-to-$25,000. Members of several teams will set up the race venue and disassemble it.
