Morrison Historical Society will host Captain Marc Adami on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He will spin exciting sea stories of adventure on the high seas in his presentation, “My Life at Sea: Pirates, Icebergs, Blowouts, and other Disasters.”
Doors open at 1:00 p.m. at Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. Access for all is available at the back of the building via a ramp. There is no fee to attend. Adami’s program will begin promptly at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Adami is a retired Master Mariner and a graduate of the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy. He spent 28 years in the offshore oil industry, working on exploration drilling rigs, drill ships, emergency fire fighting/dive support, and well-testing vessels around the world.
Audience participation and questions are encouraged during and after his presentation.
