Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, December 12, 2014.
Arrests:
On Friday, December 12, 2014, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Morrison Police responded to 115 W. Main Street, outside of KJ’s Bar & Grill, Morrison, IL, regarding a fight. During the investigation, Jason A. Graham, age 23 of Morrison, fled the scene against the direction of Morrison Police. A pursuit ensued on foot by Police, and Graham was apprehended in the area of E. Wall Street and S. Cherry Street. Graham was charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer and transported to the Whiteside County Jail. The Morrison Police were assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and the Morrison Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services. This investigation continues by Morrison Police.
On Sunday, December 14, 2014, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Morrison Police arrested John J. Gillen, age 27 of Clinton, IA, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Gillen with Failure to Appear – Possession of Cannabis. Gillen was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
