Hospital Marketing Director Mick Welding explained, “A memorial ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, in our hospital lobby.  Pastor Bob Burton from Bethesda Lutheran Church[,301 W. South Street,] in Morrison, gave a sermon comparing the lights on the tree with the description of Jesus, Who is the ‘Light of the World.’  Pastor Bob continued to say that when we honor our loved ones, we, too, spread the light of Jesus.  After Pastor Bob prayed, we plugged in the lights to illuminate our Tree of Lights.”

“The tree will remain lit until Monday, December 29.  At that time, those who purchased ornaments may come in and take the ornaments home, as a keepsake to remember those who made such an impact on their lives.”
